Potential Player

My journey in football began when I watched my two older brothers, Lance Quiapo and Kent Quiapo, dominate the field since they were in grade 5. They had a natural talent for the sport, and it was evident in the way they played. They were relentless in their pursuit of victory, and teams from all over the region knew them as the "Quiapo Duo." Their skill and dedication paid off when they earned a spot in the City Meet 2018, a prestigious football competition. During one of their games, my brother was awarded a free kick, and he took the opportunity to score a goal, which ultimately won the match. It was an incredible moment, and I was proud to witness it firsthand. Seeing the passion and hard work my brothers put into football inspired me to pursue the sport myself. I have been training hard and honing my skills, hoping to follow in their footsteps and make a name for myself on the field.

As I trained day in and day out, I couldn't seem to match the skills of those who were younger than me. I had been training for a long time, but it felt like I was making no progress. This made me question myself and my abilities. Doubts started creeping in, and I began questioning myself relentlessly. "Am I not training enough?", "Is this all I can do?", "What am I even training for?" I felt like I was stuck in a rut and could see no way out. Despite these doubts, I knew that I could not give up. I didn't want to disappoint those who believed in me and had faith in my abilities. I needed to make them proud and to do that, I had to push myself harder than ever before. I knew that I had to be better, stronger, and faster than I ever was. I had to put in more time, more effort, and more dedication. I had to be willing to sacrifice everything to achieve my goals. I trained harder, day and night, even when my bones ached and my lungs were out of air. I knew that I had to keep going, no matter how difficult it was. I needed to keep fighting, to keep pushing, to keep striving towards my goals. I knew that I had to be relentless in my pursuit of excellence. I had to be willing to do whatever it took to achieve my goals.

As a young athlete, I had the privilege of training alongside my brothers. They were both talented football players who had developed their own unique styles of play. My older brother, Kent Quiapo, was a fierce attacker who always knew how to put pressure on the opposing team. He taught me how to be aggressive in my approach to the game, and instilled in me a deep love for the sport.

My younger brother, Lance Quiapo, was a master of defense. He had a calm and steady presence on the field and knew how to anticipate the movements of his opponents. He taught me how to be patient and strategic in my approach to the game, and showed me how to stay focused even in the face of adversity.

Together, my brothers were like Yin and Yang - two complementary forces that worked in harmony to create a perfect balance. They taught me not only the skills of the game but also the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork. Thanks to their guidance and support, I was able to become a well-rounded athlete who could adapt to any situation on the field.
